Chris Ladd (born 10 October 1951 in Jackson, Tennessee) is an American character actor in movies, television, and stage productions for 35 years.

From his early years in high school, Chris knew that he loved acting and wanted to pursue an acting career. Thus, he became a member of the Thespians Society at Jackson High School and continued his studies throughout college.

Chris landed a supporting role as the "marshal", in the Oklahoma City Theatre production of "Oklahoma". It was just a small part, but Chris made it his part, and soon became a favorite, that ended up making the production run not for the 2 weeks schedule, but for 4 weeks.

After returning home to Tennessee, Chris worked for the local television station when he was cast in the following three productions of the Life of Buford Pusser, and landing a speaking role in "Final Chapter, Walking Tall".

It was from his Walking Tall acting that led Chris to 3 recurring roles on the hit television show, "Barnaby Jones".

Since the 1970's, Chris has enjoyed doing the character parts in several other productions that include, Liberation of Lord Byron Jones, Ghost Stories, Valley of Lost Souls, Stuey, as well as several national and local commercials.

Today, while he continues to seek roles, Chris is proud of being a member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA and serves on the Nashville SAG Council and the Nashville AFTRA Board of Directors.
