Konstantin Simonov was a Russian author. His full name is Konstantin Kirill Mikhailovich. He was a relatively famous war poet that wrote a popular poem called "Wait for me", about a soldier in the war asking his girlfriend to wait for his return. His dates were 1915- 1979
