Cherie Johnson (born on November 21, 1975 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American actress best known for playing Cherie Johnson (a character obviously named and modeled after herself), who was Punky Brewster's best friend on Punky Brewster. She is the real life niece of TV producer David W. Duclon, who was responsible for starting her career. In addition, she guest starred on shows like Family Matters, The Parkers, and The Proud Family. She has also appeared on the soap opera Days of our Lives. She plans on writing children's books and hopes to produce her own show. She will appear in the movie 7eventy 5ive in 2006.
