From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Fabolous (born Skylar John Jackson on November 18, 1980 in Brooklyn, New York) is a mixed African-American and Dominican pop-rapper from Brooklyn who became a mainstream star after his debut single "Can't Deny It" from 2001 (see 2001 in music). Fabolous grew up around childhood friends, fellow Queens resident Asif, and also DJ-Clue. Fabolous has also moved through California with constant collaborator Ph.
The first star to come from DJ Clue's Desert Storm record label, Fabolous collaborated with Nate Dogg, The Neptunes, Lil Mo, Timbaland, Ja Rule and others on Ghetto Fabolous. "Can't Deny It" and Ghetto Fabolous became crossover hits. The follow-up, Street Dreams, produced two top 10 pop hits in "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You". Fabolous's 3rd album, Real Talk, was released in 2004.
