Jon-Erik Hexum (5 November 1957 - 18 October 1984) was an American actor and model. He died after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a prop gun loaded with blanks on the set of the CBS series Cover-Up. He was 26. Hexum was the star of the science fiction series Voyagers!, which aired on NBC during the 1982-83 television season. He also appeared in made for television movies The Bear and The Making of a Male Model. Hexum was dating actress Elizabeth Daily at the time of his death and had previously dated actress Heather Thomas.
