Barbara Bosson (born November 1, 1939 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American actress who has starred on television and in film.

Bosson is well known for her roles in the 1980s NBC television series Hill Street Blues as Fay Furillo from 1981-1986; and as sweet-natured yet tough prosecutor Miriam Grasso from 1995 to 1997 on Murder One which earned Barbara an Emmy nomination.

Bosson's other roles include the short-lived 1980s series Hooperman as Captain C.Z. Stern, and the also short-lived 1990s series Cop Rock as Mayor Louise Plank. She also starred in the 1970's series "Richie Brockelman, Private Eye" as Sharon.

Some of Bosson's film appearances include her well-known role is in the 1984 hit science fiction film The Last Starfighter as Jane Rogan. Her first feature film was the 1968 movie Bullitt.

Bosson has made guest appearances on many tv shows, ranging from Mannix, Crazy Like a Fox, L.A. Law, Civil Wars, Star Trek Deep Space Nine (in the season 2 episode "Rivals" as Roana) and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

From 1969 to 1997, Bosson was married to writer-producer Steven Bochco - who created several of the series she starred in, including L.A. Law, Murder One, and Cop Rock. They have 2 children together.
