Pita Amor (May 30, 1918-May 9, 2000) born Guadalupe Amor Schmidtlein in Mexico City, was a mexican poetress and writer. She was known because of her rebelliousness and audacity on her way of living. She was friend of Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Maria Felix. Pita Amor died in Mexico City at the age of 81.
