Klaus Meine (born May 25, 1948) is the lead vocals in the Scorpions. He was born in Hanover, Germany.
In 1981, after a world tour and during the recording of the Blackout album, Klaus lost his voice so bad he could not even speak properly. His docter advised Klaus to search for another job. However, the Scorpions stuck together and after therapy and vocal cord surgery, Klaus' voice recovered.
