Donell Jones is a Chicago-bred R&B tenor signed to LaFace Records. Best known for his hit U Know What's Up, featuring Left-Eye as well as his cover of Stevie Wonder's Knocks Me Off My Feet (shocking the R&B fans as Wonder is difficult to cover due only in part to his usual tessitura), he is maintained popularity in the R&B market, but like nu soul chanteuse Tamia, still is relatively obscure in the mainstream. Donell Jones upcoming album will be called Journey Of A Gemini and is set to be released on December 26th 2005 by LaFace/Zomba Label Group.
