From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Marc Weiner (born May 17, 1955) is a comedian, clown, puppeteer, and television producer. He is noted for createing and preforming with his unique "head puppets" which consists of a human head and a small (in comparison) puppet body.
Weiner is most well-known for his children's television show Weinerville, which ran on Nickelodeon from 1993-1996. However, he was first a street performer who worked with Robin Williams and an improv comic who performed at The Comic Strip, Catch A Rising Star, and The Comedy Cellar in the late 1970's. In 1981, he was a writer and occasional actor on Saturday Night Live.
Since the cancellation of Weinerville, he has provided the voices of several characters on the Nick Jr. show Dora the Explorer and starred in the show Wordville with Marc Weiner and Friends, also on Nick Jr. In the UK he starred in the Trebor Mighty Mints comercials.
