From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Anthony Siragusa (born May 14, 1967 in Kenilworth, New Jersey) was an American football defensive tackle who spent twelve seasons in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens. His nickname is "Goose", which is derived from the pronunciation of his last name. He attended the University of Pittsburgh.
Siragusa was part of the defensive line that held opponents to the fewest number of points during the 2000 season. He, along with his other linemates, helped lead the Ravens to their first Super Bowl in franchise history. He retired following the 2001 season and is currently a sideline reporter for FOX Sports's NFL coverage in the same crew as Dick Stockton and Daryl Johnston.
Since retiring, Siragusa has also launched a career in television and film acting. He appeared in Spike Lee's 2002 film, 25th Hour playing a member of the Russian mafia. He has also appeared in several episodes of the HBO series The Sopranos.
